English creative writing

slam poetry

Te kahu rolleston performances  was my favourite poetry slam poet
A quote that really spoke to me was  "forced to merge and lose each others unique diversity"  i think thats what happens when we grow up i guess kinda lose our original personality and try to be the same as everyone losing our unique diversity

Similes and metaphors 
Simple and metaphors are both techniques used in descriptive writing they’re are used to create a mental picture on the readers mind

What is a simile?
A simile is a writing style that is used for comparing things to eachother,this writing style also uses words such as. like,as .ect

What is a metaphor 

A metaphor is a figure of speech that is used to make a comparison between two things that aren't alike but do have something in common

You are as funny as a comedian

You are as smelly as a garbage can

Language features/onomatopoeia 

I’m learning about onomatopoeia and basically what this language feature is.Is it is a word or phrase that is similar to what you are talking about so basically you could be talking about water so u could use something to describe it like “splash” or drip ect

Sensory language story
As  the sun covers my skin I feel relaxed,The sound of waves filled my ears,as the waves crash up against me,The flavour is salt in my moth,I glimpse at the grey big ocean.
