Cyber bullying

With the increased level of access that young people have to internet communication tools, a very real problem has been the evolution of online bullying (cyber bullying). Cyber bullying makes young people vulnerable to abuse in a very real and harmful way that can result in serious emotional distress.

Cyber bullying is a form of harassment, which is carried out through an internet service such as email, chat room, discussion group, online social networking, instant messaging or web pages. It can also include bullying through mobile phone technologies such as short messaging service (SMS).

Examples of cyber bullying behaviour are:

teasing and being made fun of in a negative manner causing emotional distress
spreading of rumours online
sending unwanted messages after being asked not too
defamation.


Cyber bullying can happen to anyone and the bully can act anonymously if they want, or out in the open if they feel they cannot be reprimanded. People can also be bullied online by groups of people such as class groups or collective members of an online community.

Building a land yacht

Aim:Our aim is to create the fastest land yacht 

Method: Make a windshield so that we can prevent friction so that it glides when wind is blown into it.We will try build this windshield from things like cardboard so that it is strong. We used two pieces of cardboard and then we taped it to the metal bar we then put paper on the cardboard

Sushi

Sushi,Wk 5 practical

This week we made a vegetarian sushi roll our group really enjoyed this practical and it was interesting incorporating all different veg into our roll

Our group only has 3 people in it this week,We still managed to get through and get our work done

Improvements:

I personally think that the rolling of sushi wasn't particularly too good and that I could have done better, next time I will ask for help or try using the bamboo roller

We made fish and chips using potato and the fish being Hoki this recipe was inspired by Nadia lim and was changed up a bit for copyright reasons

Team aspects:There were only 3 people in our group for this practical so we evened out the jobs so we could get a try at all things that needed to be done


Teamwork skills:We all worked together to achieve the perfect fish and potato chips,Even though there were only 3 people in our group we still managed to work fast and efficiently

Team improvements and or things to work on:
One of my groups main improvements that we could work on was around the end we were a bit slow getting our chips into the oven and ended up being slower than other groups because our fish had to cook for longer than the others

What is going to be my 'key event'?
My key event is going to be the solstice, we think the solstice is what the story was building up to and what was going to determine whether or not magic could be brought back so therefore, the solstice is the most important event in our opinion.

Who is going to be my 'important character'?
My important character is going to be Amari. We chose her because we think she was the one who had the most drastic change and who would be the best to study.

What are 3 ways the character changed as a result of this event?
My character changed from being weak to strong.
My character changed from being a kosidán to maji.
My character changed from being vulnerable and scared to accepting her inner Lionaire.
