Reflection of Friday practical

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v51/MarieAlice/The%20English%20Kitchen/Datesandscones002.jpg

What was something that went well about the lesson?

A thing that went well was how me and my partner had measured out jobs and we were both doing an equal amount of work

What was something that didn't go that well about the lesson?

Our whole class was late to the lesson so by the time we had gotten into the kitchen to start the practical we were already running late and when we put the scones in the oven the lunch bell had rung and so the classes break time was wasted waited for the cones to cook. But they were underbaked

what was something you had learnt from the lesson?

something i learnt was that i needed to include my raisins into my dough mixture before putting them into the oven

What might they be looking on labels?

They Will most likely be looking for things containing any dairy products

Facts about lactose

  • Originally all people were lactose intolerant and the ones who aren't now are the ones with a gene mutation
  • The ability to digest lactose increases during pregnancy
  • Some ethnicity are more likely to be lactose intolerant than others

  1. good honest reflection and it's good to see the class working on their time management. Certainly was improved the following week.
